Olivia & John

Olivia and John's Cape Cod seaside wedding was a breathtaking celebration of love, elegance, and coastal charm. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, their big day combined timeless sophistication with the laid-back beauty of a New England beach.

The Setting

The ceremony took place on a lawn of the Chatham Bars Inn, with the rhythmic sound of waves crashing softly in the background. White Chivari chairs were arranged in perfect rows facing the ocean, creating an intimate space for guests. A floral arch made of soft white roses, hydrangeas, and smilax framed the couple as they exchanged their vows beneath the golden glow of the afternoon sun.

The reception was held in the timeless Chatham Bars Inn. The white and cream florals and linens echoed the sails of the boats docked nearby, tying the theme together seamlessly.

The Decor

The color palette featured coastal-inspired hues: creams, crisp whites, gold and touches of greenery. The tables were draped in laces and linens, topped with arrangements of seasonal blooms, greenery, and delicate golds in the candles and glasses.

Beautiful crystal chandeliers with greenery twinkled over the dance floor, creating a warm and romantic ambiance as the evening set in. The beautiful linens and paper goods featured a custom ship engraving and an online of the Chatham Bars Inn, was featured throughout—from the invitations and cocktail napkins to the dance floor and signage.

The Attire

Olivia was the epitome of timeless elegance in a custom Monique Lhuillier gown with a delicate lace bolero. Her loose, wavy hair was adorned with a beautiful veil, and she carried a bouquet of white Phalenopsis and soft greenery. John looked dashing in a tailored velvet tux paired with a crisp white shirt and a velvet bow tie that complemented the elegant theme. Bridesmaids wore creme silk dresses , while the groomsmen donned classic black tuxedos for a classic and timeless look.

The Celebration

Guests sipped on signature cocktails during cocktail hour, while a string quartet played light, airy tunes. Hors d'oeuvres included fresh oysters, mini lobster rolls, and crab cakes, all locally sourced.

Dinner featured a coastal-inspired menu of duet of Cod with lemon beurre blanc & filet mignon with béarnaise, served with mushroom risotto, carrots, asparagus, and herb-glazed portobello, followed by a decadent dessert table that included a tiered wedding cake adorned with Baileys Irish cream icing and Chocolate dipped strawberries and assorted truffles. 

As night fell, Olivia and John shared their first dance under the lights to the sounds of a live band playing classic hits and romantic ballads. Guests joined in on the dance floor, laughing and celebrating under the glow of the ballroom. The groom shined in his impeccable guitar solo with the band and all guests danced the night away.
