I find inspiration in all forms of expression: the visual arts, food, music, literature, dance. Chief of my inspirations is my family.

I am a father of three Jack, Katherine, and Sam) and husband to Karrie, my one-of-one partner. I love simply being with them-watching them grow, explore, love. We moved from Manhattan to the Georgia countryside to experience nature and a slower pace of living. I began my career as a photojournalist. Then, after a stint in portrait photography, I worked for Ralph Lauren, where I spent eight years as a creative director. I've been a lensmen for hire since, working predominantly in editorials and weddings. I draw from each of these experiences in equal measure; my present photographic practice is an amalgam of all I've learned. I love what I do. I consider it a privilege to document the joy of people in love.

I have work published in Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, The New York Times, Brides, The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, Southern Living, Geraldine Magazine, Inside Weddings 

and Weddings Unveiled. I was named one of "The World's Top Wedding Photographers" by Conde Nast Brides Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings and Photo District News's "Stars of Wedding Photography." I am also a Getty photographer and a member of Professional Photographers Of America and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International.
